Subconscious

It's a funny thing, the subconscious mind.

I've been playing Dead Space the past few days - About ten hours of gameplay first time through and ten hours very, VERY well spent. It's pretty damn frightening at some points, and of course downright disturbing at others. Nicole's rendition of 'Twinkle twinkle little star' that you keep hearing has nailed itself to my subconscious and I don't think I can ever listen to it again without that sense of dread... Fucking Regenerator. I finished the game in my underpants just so that I wouldn't have to wash all my other clothes...

Recommended to everyone who hasn't gotten around to it yet - Though presumably, that's just me 'cause I never buy new games.

Something I hate, is when you're somewhere public and come across someone who's just... Distractingly attractive. Like yesterday, on the bus, I found myself staring at this woman who was just so incredibly eye-catching I couldn't even focus on the music. After some thinking I realised why; A subconscious reaction to several factors, including her hairstyle, her nose, and the shape of her face that made her resemble my ex-girlfriend. At this point, she subconsciously gave me the finger for my incessant staring, which snapped me out of it. In honesty, it was hilarious.

Now I need to get out of here and get something to eat.
